Directoire Cocktail Table Base
Directoire Cocktail Table Base
(free shipping)
Neo-classical lines have a way of calming a busy porch. This Directoire cocktail table base, 42 by 22 inches and just 18 inches high, sits low in front of a sofa or a pair of deep chairs, and its measured, architectural character gives the whole seating group a sense of order. Set it on a covered terrace where evening light slants in between tall columns, add a top of travertine or glass, and arrange on it a stack of garden books, a pot of rosemary and a dish of ripe figs. Black or dark grey feels most classical; white feels fresh and coastal.
