Daniella Sofa

Deep seats, pale cushions plumped and square, a slim frame in a soft pewter grey: this is a sofa that lets the garden do the talking. The hand-painted aluminium base is pared back to clean lines, so the eye travels past it to whatever grows beyond, a bank of white hydrangeas, a row of clipped boxwood, the silver glint of a lake. The cushions are covered in solution-dyed performance acrylic and filled with quick-drying foam, inviting a long afternoon with a novel. Place it beneath the roof of a loggia, flanked by the matching stone-topped end tables.
