Corgi Dog Bronze Statue

By the back door, where the path meets the lawn, a Corgi waits on short sturdy legs, ears up and face bright, exactly as if the leash were about to come off the hook. A blackbird sings from the hedge, the evening air smells of cut grass and warm earth, and the low sun gilds the length of that long, familiar body. It is the kind of figure that makes visitors smile before they have even reached the step. Rest a hand on its head and the bronze is warm from the day, the textured fur and perky ears crisp beneath your palm.

The Corgi was modeled in clay and cast in solid bronze by the lost-wax method, capturing the breed's alert expression and distinctive proportions. Its weather-resistant bronze develops a natural patina over time, and at 29 pounds it sits securely on a mantel or shelf indoors, or on a patio table or garden pedestal outside.
