Contemporary Spuds Dog Table-top Bronze Statue

On the corner of a desk by a sunny window, a little bull terrier stands foursquare, egg-shaped head tilted and expression bright and alert. The radio murmurs in the next room, a kettle begins to sing, and the morning smells of toast and fresh coffee. Every line of the muscular body speaks of mischief barely held in check, as if he might trot off at any moment. Scoop him up and he fits neatly in one hand, solid and cool, the subtle textures of his coat just perceptible under your thumb.

The terrier is cast in bronze by the lost-wax method, which preserves the distinctive profile and breed details in clean, expressive form. His patina deepens with character over time, and at 4 pounds he sits steadily on a desk, bookshelf or mantelpiece.
