Coming Through the Rye Table-Top Bronze Statue

On the desk of a wood-paneled study, a cowboy rides at full stride, one arm flung skyward as he fires his pistol in celebration. The horse's hooves seem to drum on the polished black marble beneath, and in the hush of the room you can almost hear the whoop and the dust kicking up. The air carries the warm scent of leather chairs and a hint of pipe tobacco, the kind of room where a glass of something amber waits on the side table. Run a hand along the horse's neck and the bronze is cool and lively with movement, every straining muscle crisply defined.

The figure was modeled in clay and cast in bronze by the lost-wax method, finished with a hand-applied patina that deepens in character over time and set on a polished black marble base. At 40 pounds it sits securely on a desk, shelf or mantel and is intended for indoor display, at home in a library, study or western-themed room.
