ColorSplash Jigsaw Bear Bronze Statue

A bear ambles across the top of a bookcase, its body divided into interlocking jigsaw pieces, each one picked out in its own bright color. Seen from the armchair on a rainy afternoon, with the patter on the window and a mug of cocoa warming your hands, it looks like a puzzle just clicking into place. The scent of rain and woodsmoke drifts through the room as the light changes. Trace the seams between the pieces with a fingertip and you feel the bear's textured fur and solid, muscular form beneath the color.

The bear was modeled in clay and cast in bronze by the lost-wax method, then given a multi-layered patina and vivid color accents across its jigsaw pattern. At 12 pounds it is sturdy on a shelf, desk or mantel and is meant for indoor display.
