ColorSplash Bear Bronze Statue

On a long console in a sunlit room, a bear lumbers forward, its broad shoulders and heavy paws caught mid-step. Bold strokes of color run across the bronze, bright against the deep patina like a burst of wildflowers on a dark hillside. The house is still, the air faintly warm with coffee and cedar, and the light shifts slowly over the textured fur as the afternoon wears on. Run your fingers over its back and you feel every ridge and hollow of the coat, cool and solid under the hand.

The bear was modeled in clay and cast in bronze by the lost-wax method, then finished with a multi-layered patina and vivid color accents. At 12 pounds it sits firmly on a shelf, desk or console and is meant for indoor display, where its color reads best in good natural light.
