The Chippendale Oblong Tree Box was shaped for them, 40 inches long, just over 26 inches wide and 32.5 inches tall, its sides patterned in the clean, interlacing fretwork that gives Chippendale its order and charm. O'Brien Ironworks forges it to order in iron or aluminium. Set it beneath a window, along the edge of a terrace or at the foot of a garden stair, where it gives soft planting a crisp architectural edge.
