Chinese Chippendale Console Base
Chinese Chippendale Console Base
(free shipping)
A long console earns its place in the room that leads out to the garden, where keys, gloves and a basket of cut flowers tend to gather. This one stretches five feet along the wall at a generous thirty-five inches high, its Chinese Chippendale fretwork bringing a little of the garden pavilion indoors. Top it with marble or glass, add a pair of lamps and a jardinière of trailing ivy, and it becomes the quiet anchor of a hall, sunroom or garden room. In Faux Cherry the lattice turns warm and russet, a fine match for old floorboards.
