Chinese Chippendale Club Chair

Lower and deeper than a dining chair, with a fifteen-inch seat height and twenty-two inches of seat depth, this Chinese Chippendale version invites a long afternoon with a book and a jug of hibiscus tea. Its lattice frame keeps the generous proportions from feeling heavy, and it is made to be dressed with a deep cushion in a fabric of your choosing. Pair two beside a low table on a screened porch, ferns trailing from hanging baskets and a ceiling fan turning slowly overhead. Beige or light grey will flatter almost any fabric.
