Chinese Chippendale Barstool
Chinese Chippendale Barstool
(free shipping)
Slim and upright, this armless barstool slides neatly under a counter, which makes it the one to choose when space is tight and the guest list is not. The Chinese Chippendale Barstool raises the familiar lattice pattern to a twenty-eight-inch seat, bringing a touch of eighteenth-century chinoiserie to a home bar, a breakfast counter or a kitchen island. Picture a row of them in white against a run of green tile, a bowl of Meyer lemons on the bar and the scent of night-blooming jasmine drifting in through open French doors. In black, each becomes a sharp line drawing against pale stone.
