Campo Wall Sconce III - Black

Dusk on a working waterfront has its own geometry: pilings, coiled rope, and a row of plain black lamps throwing pools of light onto weathered boards. This sconce borrows that honest vocabulary. A wide, shallow saucer shade sits at the end of a straight pipe arm, jointed at a knuckle like a piece of ship's fitting, and the whole thing wears an even black powder coat that reads crisply against whitewashed brick or cedar shingle. Mount it beside a potting-shed door, or by the side gate where honeysuckle scents the evening air and the broad shade casts a low circle of light below.
