Cambridge Side Table Base
(free shipping)
The smallest pieces often do the most work in a garden room. This side table base from O'Brien Ironworks' Gothic Revival collection, eighteen and a half inches square and nineteen high, slips in beside a chair or settee to hold a cup, a candle in a glass hurricane, or a little pot of maidenhair fern. Top it with a disc of marble or a small sheet of glass, and set it on a screened porch where the ceiling fan turns slowly and the scent of night-blooming jasmine drifts through the screens. In black it adds a fine, crisp line; in white it reads as light as the linen around it.
