Avignon Coffee Table
Avignon Coffee Table
(free shipping)
Low tables gather people. The Avignon coffee table sets the centre of an outdoor sitting room at 18 inches high and 48 by 24 across, a sensible size for a pair of club chairs and a settee drawn up close. Its French Provincial character is easy-going, more farmhouse terrace than formal salon. Finish it with a top of weathered limestone or clear glass, then let the garden do the decorating: a shallow bowl of floating camellias, a pot of rosemary, a lantern for when the cicadas start up and the light turns amber.
