Arabian Lady Low Side Table

On a shaded terrace at the hour when the heat finally lifts, a low table waits beside a deep chair, its bronze figure of an Arabian lady holding up a cool slab of marble. Set down a glass of mint tea and the stone answers with a soft, clear click, the scent of the leaves rising into the warm evening. The marble stays cool under your fingertips while the bronze below carries the last warmth of the sun. Lanterns come on along the path, and the lady's form glows faintly in their light.

The table is cast in bronze by the traditional lost-wax method and paired with marble, and its 115 pounds keep it steady and settled wherever it stands. It sits happily indoors or out, beside a chaise in a sunroom, a sofa in a sitting room or a lounge chair on a garden terrace.
