12" Table Armillary

Long before the clock, gardeners read the sky, and the armillary sphere was how they pictured it: rings within rings, tracing the turning of the heavens. This 12-inch Table Armillary brings that old fascination to the terrace at an intimate scale, standing 17 inches tall. Set it on a potting bench among seed packets and terracotta, at the centre of a terrace dining table among pots of thyme, or on a low wall where the morning sun slips through its rings and casts thin, curved shadows on the stone. O'Brien Ironworks makes it to order in iron, galvanized iron or aluminium, finished to suit your garden.
